Things teams ask.

Q.01How does this compare to FLUX.2 / FLUX.1 Kontext?
FLUX 1.1 [pro] is the production T2I baseline — fast, broad, reliable. FLUX.1 Kontext is the editing specialist (instruction-driven edits on existing images). FLUX.2 is the next-gen frontier — higher quality, higher cost, slower.
Q.02Can I use the outputs commercially?
Yes. Infer passes through Black Forest Labs' commercial terms for FLUX 1.1 [pro] outputs.
Q.03Does it support image-to-image?
Yes — pass an `init_image` and a `strength` parameter. For instruction-style edits ('change the sky to dusk'), FLUX.1 Kontext is the better fit.
Q.04Can I use my own LoRAs?
LoRA support is on the Infer roadmap and will arrive via the same `model` parameter (`reka/flux-1-1-pro:lora-{id}`). For now, base model only.
Q.05What safety stack runs?
Infer applies BFL's published safety filter on outputs. Public-figure prompts and explicit content are filtered server-side; filtered requests return a structured error.
Q.06What are the rate limits?
Default tier is 60 requests per minute, with burst capacity to 120/min. Paid tiers scale to 1,000+ rpm. There are no daily caps — you only pay for what you generate.
Q.07How is this different from calling fal or Replicate directly?
One key, one bill, one SDK shape across 100+ models. Infer handles auth, retries, region routing, and per-model quirks. Drop in by changing one URL.
